Bootcamps similar to Commonwealth Coders cost up to $15,000.00 per student; however, Commonwealth Coders training is available at under $5000.00. For eligible participants however, the entire 16-week Commonwealth Coders program can be funded at little to no cost to the student.
Commonwealth Coders is a diverse program for adult women and men with little to no computer experience. We have been consistent in having close to a 50/50 ratio of male to female students. In addition, our participants have significantly ranged in age--thus far, our youngest student was 18 and our oldest student was 66.
Classes for the Commonwealth Coders program will begin August 2022.
The Commonwealth Coders classes will be held virtuallly/remotely.
Commonwealth Coders classes will be held Monday thru Friday from 8:30am to 2:00pm CST 9:30am-3:00pm EST.
A computer will be loaned to each qualifying student for use during the course. A second computer monitor is highly recommended, although, not required
You WILL need to have access to the Internet. A computer will be loaned to qualifying students; however you are responsible for providing your own internet connection.
Previous coding or computer training is not required; however, Algebra skills and a strong work ethic are highly encouraged.
